Stephanie Gadd

Steph graduated from Massey in 2019 and has recently joined the Nelson Vets family. She came back home after spending 3 years working abroad on the small island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands and is loving being back!

Her favourite part of being a vet is seeing all of the cute animals come in and watching them develop and grow from puppies/kittens all the way into their golden years. She especially loves working closely with owners to diagnose and treat the more complex medical issues that arise, with the aim to always provide the most healthy and fulfilled lives for her patients. Steph has a special passion for internal medicine and particularly endocrine disease.

In her spare time she loves going for walks in our beautiful part of the country, and more often than not you'll find her sitting in the sun part way along the track lost in a good book.

Steph has wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember. "I love working with all of the animals, and working with their families to build a strong relationship of mutual trust and respect. I know in my heart this is what I am supposed to be doing with my life and love every day of it!"
