How do I know if my is suitable for a Laparoscopic Gastropexy?
There are a number of factors that determine whether your dog is a good candidate for the surgery, this includes:
- Dogs who have previously has incidents of bloat with/without twisting of the stomach.
- Large, giant breeds and deep chested breeds are more disposed to GDV.
- If your dog is already booked in for routine surgery, we can often combine these procedures so your dog only needs to be under anaesthetic once.
